What is counselling?

Counselling is an arrangement with a trained person which gives you an opportunity to talk about what is troubling you. Your counsellor will help you to understand your thoughts and feelings and help you decide if you would like to make any changes.

The First Meeting

In the first session your counsellor will take details about your difficulties. This meeting is a chance for you and the counsellor to decide if counselling is helpful. If counselling is not the best type of support, we will do our best to refer you to a more suitable service.
